Ever since I was little, I’ve always enjoyed spending quality time with my mam, one activity that I particularly enjoyed was painting her nails. as this was something she never was able to find the time to do. I soon discovered Nails Inc, and decided to buy a couple of colours as a present for her and every week i would make the time to give her a manicure. Fourteen years since discovering Nails Inc, I am still using this brand and continually impressed with the latest on trend colours and new innovations.
Nails inc are a British brand founded by Thea Green, who has received an MBE for her services to the beauty industry. Nails Inc have also collaborated with celebrities such as Alexa Cheung & Victoria Beckham to inspire collections. Both of which are known for their style in fashion. I think its a unique concept to use different street names and places in London for the names of each nail colour, giving this brand an immediate, quintessentially British appeal.
This week I received the new London Collection which is the third volume of its type, which will soon be launching on QVCUK. My first thoughts about this collection were how lovely the tones of the colours are and how classic colours have been given the Nails Inc treatment, providing a fresh updated look for the modern woman. Combined with the latest on trend colours for the summer season and some fun, quirky special effects.

My personal favorites from this collection would have to be Sheraton Street, Gordon Street, Willow Place, Beaumont Mews and St Georges Square. These would all combine beautifully with one another or equally as gorgeous on their own. The special effects are a wonderful way to breath new life into colours which you may already have in your collection or even worn on a bare nail for a subtle look.
I have painted quite a lot of nails over the years and I adore the time and care that Nails Inc have taken to create a fantastic self levelling formula for their nail polish and to combine this with an easy to apply brush, so whether you are experienced or trying nail colour for the first time, this combination will give fantastic results every time. I’ve found I can get a good weeks worth of wear out of these polishes with any signs of chipping or peeling.
Overall this is a fantastic collection, the packaging, the colours and the value make this a must have buy. Each of the full size polishes retail at £11 each and their are six in this collection, plus the mini special effect shades, which offers tremendous value for money. This would make a fantastic gift as a whole collection, or you could split this up into duos which would still make a substantial presents. That’s if you could bare to be parted from any of these colours.
