This Works Sleeping Partners – Deep Sleep Night OIl & Pillow Spray Review

I am without doubt one of the worst sleepers I know, I tend to be much more of a night owl than an early morning riser as I just can’t seem to switch off, relax and go to bed for an early night.

So when I heard about the British based company of This Works who work with British farmers to source their natural ingredients had produced a Sleep range, knowing that they have been clinically proven and 89% of people fell asleep faster than normal and 92% of people felt more refreshed in the morning and this range has recently won the QVCUK Best New Brand Beauty Excellence Award 2015, I knew I had to give this range a try, as if it could help me then it could help anyone.

This Works was founded in 2003 by International Journalist and Beauty Editor Kathy Phillips, she was inspired by her global beauty knowledge of the health and beauty industry and her desire to create natural beauty products that deliver on their promise.

The vision of This Works is “To deliver iconic solutions for modern beauty needs, drawing upon nature’s laboratory, responsibility” this vision matches my own personal beliefs about skin care, nature and the environment.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been using the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and Deep Sleep Night Oil as a two-pronged attack to conquer my sleeping nightmare.

My recommendation to anyone who struggles with sleeping is to try to have a bath before bed, rather than a shower as this will help you to relax more, This Works do have bathing products from the Sleep range but I decided to put a couple of drops of the Deep Sleep Night Oil into my bath, just to give it a try.  I found the bathroom was soon filled with the vapours of the natural ingredients of Lavender, Vetivert and Camomile which allowed me to take deeper calming breaths and relax.

Once I had my bath I used a few pumps of the Deep Sleep Night Oil all over my body, the grape seed oil base to this product allows you effectively massage away tension and intensely nourish the skin with hydration, whilst the natural fragrance allows you to deeply breath in the relaxing oils which within a couple of minutes does make me feel more relaxed and ready for bed.

The Deep Sleep Night Oil has been voted for by Harpers Bazaar Beauty Hot 100 as the Best Sleep Secret and it can be purchased from This Works direct at a retail price of £25 for a 120ml size, you only need a couple of pumps of this product to go a long way so I would say you could get up to three months of nightly use.

Now it was time for the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, which is a cocktail of sleepy goodness with essential oils of Lavender, Patchouli, Ho Wood, Vetivert and Camomile I sprayed a light mist over my pillows and the top of the duvet as I do like to cuddle into my duvet at night.

I was surprised in a good way that within a couple of minutes I could already feel myself feeling sleepy and the my eyes were wanting to close, this is something that never happens to me, I’m usually sitting in bed reading a book and before I know it I’ve read a couple of chapters and don’t feel any closer to being sleepy.

The Deep Sleep Pillow spray can be purchased direct from This Works and retails at £16 for a 75ml size bottle, you only need a couple of sprays for this to be effective so again I would say a good two to three months of nightly usage, offering great value for money.

Overall I can say hand on heart that This Works! the duo of the Deep Sleep Night Oil and Deep Sleep Pillow spray have totally transformed my nightly sleeping routine and has given me the ability to switch off and feels like I am floating on a cloud and wake up feeling refreshed, ready for the day ahead.  These products are so concentrated and they offer great value for money as they will last you up to three months of nightly usage, as they say you can’t put a price on a good nights sleep, I would even pay more for how good these are but thankfully I don’t have too.

This duo of sleep products are also available from QVCUK in a specially priced offer of £25.80 which is just slightly more than the Deep Sleep Night Oil on its own.

I challenge you to give these a try for yourself and see the difference.

Have you tried sleep aid products before?
