Caudalie Polyphenol C15 – SPF20 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid Review

Caudalie was founded in 1993 in Bordeaux (France) by Mathilde Thomas and her husband Bertrand.  Two years later with the help of Professor Joseph Vercauteren, who is one of the world’s most leading specialists in Polyphenols, registered a patent for extracting and stabilizing grape-seed polyphenols, the Caudalie brand was created.

For the past couple of weeks I have been using the Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Broad Spectrum SPF20 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid, I wanted to try this product as I am a big fan of using a daily SPF, as it is important to protect our skin, even when it doesn’t appear there is any sunlight that can cause damage.  It is also important to use a form of antioxidant on your skin as this ingredient protects the skin from free radical damage from sources such as light, pollution and smoke, which attack the skin cells and can trigger premature ageing and destroy the skin’s natural Hyaluronic Acid.  This protect fluid contains both of these must have anti-ageing ingredients and for the first time the antioxidant polyphenols in this fluid are 10,000 times more powerful than Vitamin E.

This product has been clinically tested on twenty volunteers over a 28 day period who said that they seen a 30% reduction in wrinkles and in a separate trial of twenty one volunteers, 95% of them felt they had plumper skin over the 28 day testing period.

I can certainly agree with these test results, even though I have only used the wrinkle protect fluid for a 14 day period my wrinkles have become a lot less noticeable, my skin feels plumper and the texture is brighter and fresher looking, almost like you’ve had your full 8 hours sleep everyday.  One of the biggest plus points to this cream is that it is multi functional, your daily moisturiser, SPF, Antioxidant and wrinkle fighter all in one.

The packaging of this product is a dark green mossy colour, it looks modern, high end with a scientific edge to it.  I am very much looking forward to trying more from this brand and this range, I will continue to use this cream to see what a difference using it over a longer period can make.

You can purchase this Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Broad Spectrum SPF20 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid direct from the Caudalie website in a 40ml size for £29
