A Big Tub of Hyaluronic Acid | The Chemistry

The Chemistry brand is part of DECIEM – The Abnormal Beauty Company, I will be reviewing some of their other ranges such as NIOD & Hylamide very soon.  I wanted to learn more about this collection first as to be able to combine typically face ingredient technology into products, which can be used on larger areas, such as the body sounds amazing.

The principle of this brand has always been to change the world of beauty by doing everything that other brands don’t do.  Since this range was launched it has gone on to be nominated and win several prestigious awards from the beauty press.

Many of you may of heard of Hyaluronic Acid, it is known for being a super hydrating ingredient that has been proven to hold 1,000 times its weight in water, which when applied to the skin has the ability to keep the skin plump, smooth and supple.  Our body naturally produces this ingredient, but our own production levels decrease as we age so I wouldn’t be without this ingredient in my skincare routine and now that I can use it on the body too, I am blown away.

It’s quite normally to find Hyaluronic Acid in high end, expensive face creams and eye serums, which are typically in a 15 ml or 30 ml size, so there is no way I could afford to apply to my body too.  This is a prime example of how The Chemistry range is changing the beauty industry by offering this powerful ingredient in a very large pump action bottle at an affordable price, that gives you the opportunity to treat the whole body to the moisturising benefits.

There has been a lot of research put into the delivery of this precious ingredient by combining three different types and molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid, to allow effective absorption into the skin for the best results.  They have also combined Red Marine Algae, Tamarind and Tremella Fuciformis as these ingredients compliment the “HA” and super charge it with more power and effectiveness than on its own, with additional benefits of increasing cell renewal, skin elasticity and long term hydration.

For the past couple of weeks I have been using the Hyaluronic Concentrate on my hands and body,  as at this colder time of year it’s very important to keep the skin hydrated to prevent moisture loss and premature ageing.  With having such a large 240ml size that retails at £28, I haven’t felt guilty about being very liberal in my application.  The light gel texture absorbs instantly into the skin giving an instant quench of moisture which feels cooling upon contact.  I’ve noticed that even hours after applying this concentrate my skin still feels hydrated and i’m not reaching for a hand cream or body lotion to top up later in the day.  I will certainly be stocking up as now I have tried this concentrate its a must have product for me, which i’m sure you will agree once you give it a try.
