This Works – Light Time Collection Review

This Works – Light Time Collection Review

I have previously reviewed the This Works Deep Sleep Night Oil & Pillow spray which was one of my top 10 products of 2015 which you can check out HERE.

Over the last three weeks I have been using the newest skincare launch from This Works called Light Time, this collection is designed to Refresh, Renew and Revive your post-sleep skin so that your skin looks bright and fresh, putting your best face forward, ready for the day ahead.

The Light Time range comprises of a three step skincare programme consisting of:

  • Light Time Cleanse & Glow – This cleanser has the most wonderful smooth balmy texture, rich in Jojoba Oil and Vitamin C.  You only need to use a small amount on your fingertips, apply to dry skin and massage over the face, take some time and inhale the zesty fruity aroma, then with damp fingers gently massage the skin to activate the Vitamin C, I leave this to work for a couple of minutes while I brush my teeth then remove.  After using this cleanser my skin feels clean, bright, moist and plump.
  • Light Time Skin Plumper – Next we have the second step in the routine, this has a lovely light texture but is power packed with moisturising properties of Hyaluronic Acid and Persian Silk Tree, I made the mistake of using two pumps the first day I tried this but one pump is more than enough for my skin.  Simply apply to the face and feel the Hyaluronic filling spheres going to work lifting and plumping the skin.  I have noticed a change in my skin since using this product, the texture is smoother, lines look less noticeable, my skin has an overall fresher, brighter appearance.
  • Light Time Open Eyes – Now the final step to treat the eye area and decrease any post sleep puffiness.  The texture is a light gel/cream that comes with a metal tipped applicator, this gives instant cooling and soothing upon contact.  Simply squeeze a small amount onto the back of your hand then use the smooth application to glide over the eye area, giving instant hydration with extract such as Aloe Vera, Vitamin Rich Algae, Argan Oil and Persian Silk Tree.  Since using this I have seen an improvement in my eye area, particularly on the upper eye area as I have hereditary hooding, which now looks firmer and gives me a more wide awake appearance.  I love how cooling and soothing this is to use around the eyes, perfect on a morning to get rid of those bags.

Overall this is a wonderfully, simple three step routine just that anyone can use, particularly if your skin is looking dull, dry or just lacking energy and vitality.  Maybe that’s due to over excesses at Christmas or your not being able to get enough sleep due to work or stress, then I would recommend you try this routine and see the difference for yourself.  All you need to remember is Splash, Plump and Glide.

You can purchase each of these products from the This Works website, the Cleanse & Glow is £30 for a 75ml size, Skin Plumper is £29 for a 30ml size and the Open Eyes is £25 for a 15ml size, which is great value for money as I could see these products lasting me a good four months worth of daily usage.

There is also a Light Time starter kit on the This Works website, where you get a 50ml Cleanse & Glow and 15ml Skin Plumper with a 5ml sample of the Sleep Spray for £25, which is a perfect way to try the range.
