I have previously reviewed the AA Skincare Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel, Grapefruit & Cedarwood Deodorant and Lavender & Tea Tree Face Lotion, I have been super impressed with all of these products, the quality of the ingredients and value for money are fantastic.
Amphora Aromatics have once again kindly sent me a product from their range to review. I have been using the AA Skincare Frankincense & Rose Clay Mask twice a week for the last couple of weeks to see what a difference it could make to my skin.
First of all I want you to put aside any experiences which you have had with clay masks in the past, I know from past experience they always dried hard on the face and were difficult to remove, leaving the skin lacking in moisture, so have tended to avoid them as whilst I have a combination skin type they always felt too drying and uncomfortable on the skin.
This AA Skincare mask does have a clay base but that’s where the similarity to other clay masks end, as this mask is full of hydrating, rejuvenating and regenerating essential oils to feed the skin.
Active ingredients of Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Frankincense, Rose, Rosehip Oil, Rosemary and Geranium to name but a few, it’s difficult to imagine all of these wonderful ingredients in one pot.
It is important to incorporate a mask into your weekly routine as these types of products can give instantaneous benefits to the skin and are the workhorse when you go for a facial to see the biggest improvement after your treatment, so I would always recommend to take 5-10 minutes out of your week to fit one in, you can even apply before you have a bath and leave it to work while having a relaxing soak.
After using this mask the biggest difference i’ve noticed is the texture of my skin is smoother, more refined and softer to the touch, it gives a detoxing effect to the skin, removing the impurities whilst giving intense hydrating and improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As often I will use two separate masks to achieve these same benefits whilst this does it all in one and when you find out it comes in a 100ml size, costing £7.94 from the AA Skincare website, it seems to good to be true, but I promise you if you have never used a mask before then please give this one a try you will be pleasantly surprised at the results.
Have you tried any products from the AA Skincare range before?
