At this time of year when Spring doesn’t seem to have quite sprung yet, I like to indulge my senses and imagine I am in a far away place surrounded by bright sun filled days, feeling that warm breeze on skin, breathing in the exotic aromas and feeling totally relaxed. The perfect way to achieve this without leaving your home is to create your own sanctuary in the bathroom.
I do this on a regular basis and like to experiment with different aromas and scents, depending where i’d like to be transported too. Today I will be taking a journey with the Moroccan Myrrh Hair & Body Wash by Crabtree & Evelyn. From the moment I poured this golden amber elixir under hot running water, the exotic notes of Myrrh, Bergamot, Amber and Black Pepper blend into a warming aroma which instantly fill the room.
To further enhance my Moroccan journey I poured a small amount of this body wash onto my shower puff, which instantly transformed in a rich aromatic, creamy lather to cleanse my entire body. I even used this to cleanse my hair, which it does a fantastic job and doesn’t overly strip the hair or scalp, perfect as an all in one product when travelling or using at the gym. I like how it leaves a slight trace of this gorgeous manly aroma on the skin and hair after I have finished cleansing. It’s easy to understand why it has recently won the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2016 in the Men’s Grooming category.
Whilst I like the appearance of this hair & body wash with the clean lines and classic shape that would add a touch of luxury to any bathroom, I did find it a little difficult to squeeze the product out of the bottle as the plastic is quite rigid, but it does mean that you’re not going to use more than you need too.
If you are looking for a all in one hair and body wash, that is kind to the skin with a gorgeous aromatic scent then this is the one for you. This hair & body wash comes in a 300ml size and retails at £15, which you can purchase direct from the Crabtree & Evelyn website or in your local C&E store around the country.
I would very much like to try more from this range and the West Indian & Indian Sandalwood collections in the future.
