Time For Some Complexion Rescue

Time For Some Complexion Rescue

Hello Beauties, I hope you are all having a lovely week so far? One of the most frequently asked questions I recieve is about what foundation I use or I think is the best for a male skin, so today I want to share with you what is my current must have product.

I have been a big fan of BareMinerals products for quite some time now, I started off with their original mineral foundation which I am either a medium beige or medium tan user, depending on the time of the year or if I am wearing a self tan.  However I have recently discovered a fantastic product that combines powerful skin hydration with healthy looking coverage and an SPF30 all in one product, which I am the in the “Natural” shade option.

I am talking about the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue, which has been formulated from a skin hydrating, marine botanical base with encapsulated skin friendly mineral pigments, giving the skin a drink of water whilst providing a dewy sheer to medium coverage.

What I love the most about using this product is that it feels instantly cooling, soothing and hydrating on the skin, which is rare when it comes to makeup, as they can feel quite heavy.  I’ve found I only need to use about the size of a five pence piece, which I squeeze onto the back of my hand and then apply to the face with the Smoothing Face Brush which gives a smooth air brushed finish.

I find the coverage of this Complexion Rescue is enough to cover the high colour on my cheeks, whilst giving a flawless, natural finish to the skin.  Even my best friends aren’t able to detect I am wearing any makeup and have often remarked how well I am looking and was I using a new day cream, not what foundation are you wearing.  From time to time I sneak a bit under my eyes as a base before applying any concealers, which sometimes I don’t need to apply, depending how tired my eyes are looking.

If you are looking for a light to medium coverage foundation, full of skincare hydration and balancing benefits that is suitable for combination skins without causing any additional grease or shine, whatever your gender, then please try this BareMinerals Complexion Rescue, which comes in a 35ml size available in 16 shades and retails at £26, available from the BareMinerals website, Debenhams and QVCUK where it was the Beauty Excellence Winner for 2015.  If you would like to purchase the face brush this retails at £24 and is also available from the same retail stores.  A little tip for you if you are looking to buy both items then they are available as a duo from QVCUK for a price of £36.36 while stocks last.

Have you tried the BareMinerals range?
