Radiantly Searching For A Chai Latte

Radiantly Searching For A Chai Latte

Hello Beauties

I hope you are having a lovely week so far?  Today I want to share with you the latest shades I have been using from Little Ondine, who were founded in 2014 and developed by three gentlemen with a vision to reimagine the nail industry.

Inspiration for this brand came from organic wall paint and after taking four years to develop their formula, they have created a unique nail polish made from natural resin, water and high quality minerals from around the globe to deliver a pure and organic colour, in wonderful on trend colours with no toxic or chemical ingredients.

In 2015 they were one of the joint winners of the QVCUK Best New Beauty Brand Competition and it’s easy to see why, with their unique range of nail colours that are odourless, so that you can practically paint your nails anywhere.  Which you can easily peel off without the need for any chemical removers.  Making it kind on the nails and allow you to change up your mani look whenever you like.

I have recently been experimenting with the “Chai Latte” and “Radiance” shades, each on their own and also cocktailing with one another to make a fabulous statement on the nails.

  • Chai Latte – This is a rich bold molten chocolate shade, which adds depth and drama to any outfit.
  • Radiance – This reminds me of the crystal slipper which Cinderella would wear, which sparkles and gleams with a million lights.

I love the Chai Latte shade as a full manicure on the nails, as it gives an elegant understated glamour look that could be worn both day and night.  Whilst the Radiance shade is perfect if you want to add a touch of shimmering couture diamonds, to elevate your look.  These shades work well together, whether that be with a touch of Radiance to the ring finger or a full on glam look with it applied over the top of the Chai Latte on all fingers.  Experiment and find what works best for you and your mood, as it’s all about having fun with your nails and expressing your personality.

The best part of using the Radiance shade is most glitters can be very tough to remove, whereas this is the same unique peel off formula allowing easy removal from the nails.

I found the nail polish very easy to apply and has a opulent viscosity which covers the nail in very few strokes, I always like to apply two coats to achieve the true shade depth.  To achieve a long lasting manicure make sure the nail plate is clean and dry, once applying the nail polish be sure to tidy up the edge of the nail while wet and keep the nail area dry within the first hour, try and avoid activities like washing up or showering within the first three hours as this could cause the polish to peel off, other than those tips I have found this polish to last a good five days without any signs of wear.

With its easy to remove formula you may want to change up your nail colours more often and there are plenty shades to choose from, if you would like to try these shades they can be purchased direct from the Little Ondine website and retail at £9.50 for the Chai Latte and £11 for the Radiance shade.
