The Ritual of Karma

Hello Beauties

I am a big believer in the fundamental law of cause and effect, known as Karma.  I certainly believe if you show kindness and goodwill to others then this will have a positive effect in your own life.  I know it can be difficult at times when you feel that you have been wronged, but I do think those that choose to behave in a negative way to others, the universe will find a way of punishing them.

According to ancient Hindu belief, living with good intent attracts positive karma.  Say good words, think good thoughts, do good deeds and good will come your way.  This principle is the inspiration for the new Limited Edition collection from Rituals, which was founded in 2000 by Raymond Cloosterman, he passionately believes that if you transform your daily routine and fill it with more meaningful moments, then happiness can found in the smallest of things.

I have been using two products from The Ritual of Karma range, these are the Full of Kindness Shower Foam and the Good Karma Bed & Body Mist.  The packaging is stylish, with an elegant serene calmness to it, finished off so beautifully with a rose gold-copper elements.

  • Full of Kindness Shower Foam – I have previously tried the unique foaming shower gel concept when I tried the Samurai ritual late last year.  I am a big fan of this delivery system as a little goes a long way.  The shower gel starts off as a viscous texture which upon contact with water, turns into a soft cleansing foam to massage all over my body, allowing me to inhale the fresh floral notes of White Lotus, with a hint of refreshing citrus Bergamot.  After cleansing my skin felt clean, refreshed, hydrated and soft to the touch, with the delicate  clean aroma fragrancing my skin.  I like to use this in the morning to give me a boost for the day ahead.
  • Good Karma Bed & Body Mist –  This has one of the most finest mists that i’ve come across, it’s like a fragrance cloud descending on my skin, gently moisturising and enveloping the skin with the fresh floral aroma of White Lotus and refreshing Bergamot.  There is no alcohol in this formula, which makes it suitable for sensitive skins and great for this time of year.  I have also sprayed this onto my bed linen when I wake up and the clean, fresh aroma is waiting for me when I jump back in at the end of the day.  I adore everything about this and certainly will be stocking up as this is a limited edition scent.

If you are looking to inject a sense of calmness into your life, then you won’t go wrong with this duo.  The aroma is so fresh and clean, I can’t stop smelling myself after using either of these fantastic products.  There is also a shower oil, body scrub, body cream and home fragrancing with fragrance stick and a scented candle.  I need to try the full range as I would love my whole home being scented by this aroma and build the effects by layering with the body products.

All of these products can be purchased from the Rituals website, the Shower Foam retails at £8.50 for a 200ml size and the Bed & Body Mist retails at £16.50 for a 50ml size.
