Last week I was very unwell, everything was aching and I was constantly having hot sweats then shivering cold spells, which has sapped the hydration from my skin. I particularly noticed that my hands and skin on my body felt very dry and rough to the touch, which must be down to being ill and the subsequent medication I needed to feel better.
So this week I was on a mission to make sure my hands and skin on my body were nourished and hydrated, so I decided to try two products from the Bodhi & Birch range. One being the Rosemary Chi Body Moisturiser and the other being the Lime Blossom Hand Serum.
- Rosemary Chi Body Moisturiser £18 – I am the first to admit that i’m not a massive fan of body lotions, this is because I find so many a chore to apply and then waiting for them to be absorbed, so if I do use one its usually once or twice a week. However as my skin is very dry at the moment I decided to give this a try. I adore the unique aroma combination of Cedarwood and Rosemary in this body moisturiser, which I think is perfect for a guy to use, I found it to be the perfect remedy after a long day to revive my senses and give me a spring in my step. I am most impressed with how, even after one application the blend of Organic Kukui Nut Oil and Shea Butter found in this product, deeply nourished and hydrated my skin. Best of all it absorbed immedietly, leaving my skin moisturised, soft and glowing with health. I have applied this everyday after bathing and I have seen a big improvement in the texture and tone of my skin. This body moisturiser comes in a stylish pump action bottle, so you can apply the amount you need, with no wastage.
- Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum £22 – I use facial serums all the time but never on my hands, so I was excited to see what a difference using a serum could make. With many active ingredients such as, Olive Squalane which contains a unique antioxidant to protect the hands from free-radical damage, along with Rosehip and Plum Kernel Oils, to deeply nourish the skin and help to diminish the appearance of pigmentation, I had a feeling this is just what my hands need. The best part about this serum is that it has anti-bacterial, anti-septic and anti-viral properties due to the high levels of Lime & Green Mandarin essential oils, which is perfect to ward off any germs, as I really don’t want to be sick again anytime soon. I adore inhaling the zesty aroma of this serum, it refreshes and invigorates me at the same time. I have used one pump of this serum a couple of times a day for the past week and the transformation from dry, rough and dull looking hands, to glowing radiant skin, full of hydration is very noticeable. I can’t quite believe the difference this serum has made, I will be keeping this as part of my routine and stocking up so I don’t run out.
I am continually impressed with the Bodhi & Birch range, they deliver potent products which give results and would be a perfect for guys as the packaging is modern and masculine. I am very excited to try even more of the range, to discover new must haves to add to my beauty routine.
If you would like to try either of these products for yourself, then they can be purchased direct from the Bodhi & Birch website retailing at £22 for the Lime Blossom Hand Serum and £18 for the Rosemary Chi Body Moisturiser.
