I hope you are having a lovely weekend so far, the sun is shining up here in the North East today, could it be that Summer has arrived? I hope so as over the next couple of months I have been invited to few outdoor events, including a lovely wedding so I’m not going to jinx it and just enjoy it while it’s here.
Speaking of upcoming weddings, it’s got me thinking about what type of fragrance would a Bride or Bridesmaids choose to wear on their special day. Could it be her favourite scent which she always likes to wear? or like choosing the perfect dress, shoes or accessories for the occasion, would she choose a new fragrance to capture the essence of the day, which will remind her for many years to come. I personally like to try out a new fragrance for a special occasion or event, as it means I can create fragrance memories and what a better day to create a scentful memory than the day you got married or attended the wedding of a good friend or family member.
This brings me onto a fragrance which I have recently discovered from the Liz Earle Botanical Essences collection, called No 15. I chose this fragrance as the story behind this blend captured my imagination and how it has been handcrafted using fifteen of the world’s most precious botanicals. Ranging from fresh spicy oriental notes of Pink Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove and Bergamot, to more sensual aromas of Damask Rose and Sandalwood, which blend with the caramel like qualities of Tonka Bean and Bourbon Vanilla, with a hint of Cedarwood to create a clean fresh undertone.
From the first spritz of this captivating fragrance, I was taken back to a childhood holiday when I visited Greece. Sitting outside on an evening next to my Mother after a lovely meal, her exotic perfume mixing with the aromatic warm Summer’s breeze, which always made me feel comforted and safe. This fragrance captures that moment in time for me so vividly.
I find a couple of spritzes is enough for this perfume to last all day long, but isn’t too heavy where some perfumes can cause headaches or you have to be careful if you have breathing problems like asthma, this is just the right balance.
This truly magical essence, which is over 90% derived from sustainable sourced natural ingredients and has been skillfully blended with the true passion and expertise of award winning perfumer Alienor Massunet. Which comes in an elegant rectangular bottle, with a rubberised effect which makes it easy to grip and is housed in a beautiful magnetic closing box with each of the ingredients, artistically represented throughout.
If you would like to try this elegant fragrance for yourself, it is available from the Liz Earle website in a 50ml Eau De Parfum, which retails at £49. This can also be found in most Boots stores on your local high street and on the UK’s biggest shopping channel QVCUK. I wonder what fragrance memories you will create with the fragrance?
