I hope you have all had a lovely week and are looking forward to the upcoming weekend. The weather doesn’t seem to know what it’s doing at the moment, blistering sunshine the last couple of days and now it’s windy and gloomy. These variations in temperature can play havoc with the skin, causing symptoms such as dehydration, excess oil and skin imbalances.
Luckily I have recently been using the a new beauty oil from Merumaya, underneath my day and night cream to gorge my skin with extra moisture, to combat skin dehydration. The majority of questions I have been asked lately, has been about not being able to lock moisture in the skin and this would be a great addition to any routine, to layer with your other products.
This oil contains Grapeseed, Jojoba and a new ingredient to me called Kahai oil, which in user trials 95% of people who used it, reported a reduction in wrinkles and 100% reported an improvement in hydration and firmness. Which is no wonder as this oil contains 50% more Vitamin E and twice as much Essential Fatty Acids as Argan Oil. There is also three times as much Retinol than Rosehip Oil, which is a powerful ingredient which works to heal the skin and reduce the appearance of scars.
All of these fantastic ingredients are contained in a light weight oil that instantly absorbs into the skin and comes in a large 50ml bottle with a handy dropper to allow for precise application.
I have noticed since adding this into my routine over the past couple of weeks, my skin feels moist and dewy with a plumped up appearance on my fine lines, especially one stubborn one I had on my neck. I also love the signature Merumaya aroma of this oil, which makes it such a pleasure to use.
As this is such a generous size I have been using it on other parts of my body, such as adding a few drops to my body lotion which has helped to reduce the appearance of my appendix scar. It’s also great to use as an overnight hair treatment, it washes out easily the next day and leaves my scalp soothed and hair shiny, of course I couldn’t miss out using this oil around my cuticles on my hands and toes to give extra hydration.
This oil is truly lives up to it’s name of Everything Everywhere, there isn’t anywhere that I have applied this beautiful oil that hasn’t felt the benefit. I am obsessed about trying it on new places to see what results I can see. If you have never used an oil in you routine or perhaps have been a little apprehensive then I would reccomend you give this beauty oil from Merumaya a try as it’s truly a multi functional product that can be used from head to toe. Also for the size of this oil the price is very economical as this 50ml bottle retails at £28.50 and is available to purchase from the Merumaya website.
Remember #BeautyHasNoAge to me it’s all about feeling comfortable in your own skin, whatever your age.
