The Rise Of The Male Beauty Blogger | Fabulous Magazine

Hello Beauties

Today is the day that my first feature is being published in Fabulous Magazine, which is a read across the whole of the nation with over a million readers on a weekly basis.  I am so proud to be featured in such a fantastic publication and I hope you all pick up a copy to give it a read.

As with any article or blog post there is limited space for how much content can be included, I am over the moon to be featured in Fabulous Mag today, but I wanted to add in a couple of items to the piece.

I was asked for my top 5 must have facial products, which was :

  • Decleor Neroli Aromessence Facial Oil – I have consistently used this 100% natural oil super serum in my routine for over 20 years, it keeps my skin balanced, deeply hydrated and looking radiant, I truly is a Desert Island must have.
  • Elemis Pro-Oxygenating Night Cream – I always wake up to firmer, radiant looking skin when I use this divine night cream, it melts into the skin and has the most wonderful aroma.
  • SBC Collagen Gel – This water based gel instantly hydrates and absorbs into the skin, plumping out the look of fine lines and wrinkles, I use it as a skincare supplement and a couple times a week I like use as a mask in a thicker layer.  Also in the Summer its great to keep in the fridge to cool and soothe the skin.
  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish – Cleansing is the most important step in any routine, this cleanser with it’s gorgeous Eucalyptus aroma and creamy cocoa butter texture, make cleansing a joy as it removes all traces of dirt, makeup and spf, quick and easy. Leaving the skin soft and hydrated.
  • Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue – I love how this feels instantly, cooling, soothing and hydrating on the skin, it feels like a drink of water for the skin, whilst providing a dewy sheer to medium coverage which looks so natural on the skin.

I was also asked about hair products:

  • Philip Kingsley Tricotheraphy Regime –  I have seen a dramatic difference in the look of my hair texture it is much thicker and I’ve noticed new growth on receding areas by using these supplements, scalp treatment and volumising spray.
  • Percy & Reed Firm Hold Session Hair Spray – this has the finest mist ive ever seen and gives my hair long lasting hold without any stickyness or flakeyness
  • Decleor Aroma Nutrition Hair Oil – I use this gorgeous oil as an overnight treatment which leaves my hair soft, silky and incredibly shiny, the aroma is divine too
  • Osmo Salt Spray – This gives my hair a messy yet groomed texture that adds volume and shape to my style

Overall this has been an amazing experience, it’s not everyday that I am asked to go to a photo shoot in London with a fantastic photographer and to be interviewed for my point of view about male skincare.  Corinne made the interview process very easy and straightforward and was a pleasure to discuss all things beauty.

It shows how much male beauty has progressed over the years and I pride myself that the products I review, comes from a male point of view, as I have a vast knowledge about lots of brands, that are both male and female focused.  I am a big fan of purchasing beauty from QVCUK as they allow you to try the products in your own home, with a risk free money back guarantee.  I have to thank Alison Young for educating me in the ways of beauty and was fundamental in sparking my passion for beauty.

I hope that you get a chance to give it a read and i’d luv to know your comments.
