I have really embraced sheet face masks of late as they are very easy to apply and remove. Most recently I have tried the Timeless Truth Deep Sea Extract Moisturising Beauty Mask. I’m a big fan of this range and I have previously reviewed their Bee Venom & Royal Jelly Mask, if you missed this you can check it out HERE.
The Timeless Truth range of beauty masks is now available in the UK, thanks to Angela Barbagelata, who first discovered them on a visit to the Far East and instantly became a fan of the high quality ingredients and ease of application. This mask has also been featured on The Only Way Is Essex.
This mask combines the power of the ocean with extracts of Seaweed, which helps to impede oxidative degeneration of collagen and hyaluronic acid, allowing the skin to remain plump and hydrated. It also helps to detoxify the skin, by re balancing oily skins and nourishing dry skins. This mask is also infused with ionic minerals and trace elements from deep ocean water extracts, which powerfully hydrate the skin and helps to reduce the appearance of an uneven skin tone.
Both of these ingredients are combined with a high percentage of Hyaluronic Acid, which I believe is one of the most powerful hydrating ingredients that you can use, as it allows the skin to stay plumped and hydrated, as it can hold up to 1,000 times it’s own weight in water, to gorge the skin with moisture.
When I opened the sachet I noticed that the patented woven fabric sheet mask was gorged with a serum fluid, which is just what my skin needs at the change of seasons as it can suddenly become very thirsty, upon checking the packaging this mask is actually a 30ml size which more than generous, compared to most masks. Once I placed it onto my face it felt instantly cooling and refreshing.
I left the mask on for a good 20 minutes while I ran my bath and went to choose an outfit, I glanced a couple of times in the mirror which did look slightly scary so I would advise to do this as more of a night time treatment as you don’t want to answering the door to give someone a fright.
Once I removed the mask, I massaged what was left of the hydrating serum into my skin, as you don’t need to remove this from the skin, as you want it to penetrate the skin cells. When I looked in the mirror my face looked airbrushed, my skins tone and texture looked brighter and fresher, as though i’d had a good nights sleep. The appearance of fine lines looked less noticeable and my skin felt soft and plump. I also found when I applied my foundation and powder I needed only a small amount as my skin looked radiant and they went on a lot easier.
I am continually impressed by this brand and their range of masks, this makes a perfect pick me up treat or if you have a special occassion I would apply whilst getting ready for glowing and radiant skin. My top tip is to place the mask back in the sachet and place in the fridge to use again the next day.
If you would like to try this mask for yourself, they can be purchase from the Timeless Truth website at £4.90 for a single mask or a box of five retail at £23.50.
