I have been on a mission this month to find new ways to take time out and relax as I think it’s important to have some “me” time, no matter how busy our lives are, we should still be able to find ten or twenty minutes to indulge ourselves.
One of the ways I have found effective is to run a bath and have a long soak either with some music playing in the background or reading a book. So I have been experimenting with various bathing products to treat my skin at the same time.
This has led me to discovering Aroma Works, who offer a range of skin and body remedies which combines essential oils and natural elements together. The range is free from parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, mineral oils, nuts, gluten, animal cruelty and suitable for vegans. Each of the products are created in the UK to the highest quality and ethical standards.
Over the last couple weeks I have been trying their AromaBomb range, which are available in four scents, Nuture, Serenity, Soulful and Inspire. Each bomb is 115g of pure detoxifying Himalayan Sea Salt and soothing Calamine, which are then combined with pure essential oils to create each of the aromatic aromas.
Nuture – I saved this aromabomb till I really needed some deep relaxation as the essential oil blend of May Chang, Lavender, Sandalwood and Chamomile, all combine into a wonderfully calming aromatic, that was a perfect as part of my pre bedtime ritual.
Serenity – I’ve always been a big fan of Lemongrass so I naturally gravitated to this aromabomb first out of the collection, I felt as thought I had been transported to the far east, laid in a hot spring with the intoxicating, warm citrus aroma all around me, with a hint of sweet floral tones. This is pure indulgence at it’s finest.
Soulful – This should come with a warning as I used this before a night out with friends and I’ve never been chatted up so much in my life, something about the exotic blend of Juniper Berry, Frankincense and Bergamot seemed to draw everyone closer to me. This would be perfect for a couple to bathe in together ahead of a romantic evening.
Inspire – This fruity oriental blend is my aroma of choice when I have an early morning, with a long busy day ahead as the aromatic blend of Bergamot, Lime and Black Pepper, make me feel comforted yet alive and ready to face whatever the day has to bring.
With each of these AromaBombs it is important to really breath in the aromatic aroma of these potent essential oils, so the whole body can benefit from their therapeutic benefits. Also with the high quality natural ingredients these are suitable for even the most sensitive of skins as my skin felt incredibly soft and hydrated after bathing in these luxurious bathing treats.
I would highly reccomend these as a pure indulgent treat for yourself or a loved one, I would certainly be happy to find some of these under my Christmas tree.
If you would like to experience these AromaBombs for yourself they are available to purchase in a duo or a four piece variety set, which comes beautifully packaged. I chose the Quad Box which retails at £25 which is available via the AromaWorks website.
