Classic, Iconic or Avante-Garde ? | Jay Manuel Beauty

I have been a massive fan of Jay Manuel’s for over ten years, ever since I seen his fantastic creative skills on the photo shoots for Americas Next Top Model.  He always came up with most innovative concepts and always very handsome and well groomed.  I am so excited to have experienced his range as he was one of the few figures on TV that made me feel that it was alright for guys to wear makeup.

I have previously reviewed his Filter Finish Skin Perfector Foundation, if you missed it you can check it out HERE.

However today I want to share with you a few of Jay’s wonderful Eye Shadow Quads (Trance, Promiscuous and Nympho)  These come in luxurious satin black packaging, which gives these palettes a high end look, which i’m proud to display in my makeup artistry kit.  These ultra fine, velvety powder shadows are intensely pigmented and enhanced with silicone to allow effortless glide over the lid to give a smooth crease-less finish, in either matte, satin-shimmer or high-pearl finishes.

  • Trance – This is the most universal out of the three quads, it has all your classic browns and taupe shades to create a classic look.  Perfect as a base to wear with a strong lip or could be your day look that you intensify come nightfall.
  • Promiscuous – This Autumn / Winter season plum and berry tones are everywhere, this quad matches the season perfectly to give that on trend fashion look to the eyes.
  • Nympho – However if you are looking to be adventurous and perhaps step out of your comfort zone this avante-garde inspired quad, with fantastic deep blue and oceanic mermaid tones.

If you are looking for a professional finish to update your look whether you prefer a classic, iconic or avante-garde inspired look, these shadows have everything you need.  This is perfect time of the year to experiement with the holiday season and Halloween just around the corner.

The most important thing to remember is have fun with your makeup, spend some time creating different looks and try shades or effects that aren’t your usual as it’s fun to experiment.

If you would like to try any of these Jay Manuel Eye Shadow Quads, they are available from the Jay Manuel website, QVCUK or HSN.
