As most of you know I am a big fan of using a treatment mask as part of my weekly beauty routine, as masks are designed to be much more potent that your day or night cream as in a facial they are the workhorse product in the treatment to make the biggest difference to the skin.
Today I want to introduce you to two new nourishing and rejuvenating cream masks from Ooharr. I am already a big fan of their deep cleansing clay masks, which if you missed you can check out HERE. The Ooharr brand has been developed by Amphora Aromatics, who specialise in high quality essential oils and aromatherapy products with an emphasis on being as natural as possible to deliver real results to the skin.
- Juicy Burst – If your skin is looking tired and dull, which can be typical at the change of seasons then this offers a shot of potent Vitamin C, combined with antioxidants of Lime, Cucumber and Calendula. I decided to apply this mask after a restless nights sleep to perk up the look of my skin. After a quick ten minute application my skin felt hydrated and smooth with a renewed energised appearance. I would describe this as your morning vitamin shot.
- Fruity Magic – The combination of Pomegranate, Green Tea, Aloe Vera and Honey are a fantastic detoxifying treat for the skin at the end of the a busy week, to refresh your skin ready for the week ahead. After a quick ten minute application my skin felt soft and supple with a natural glow, I also had a couple of breakouts which I didn’t expect to see a difference with but this mask soothed and calmed the appearance of them and the next day they had disappeared.
I have a combination skin type, but it is important to make sure I use hydrating products to feed and balance the skin, as a common misconception when there is more oil in the skin, is to not use products that feel moisturising or over strip the skin but this is not the case, as everyone needs to boost the water hydration levels to have a healthy skin.
I adore the retro packaging of these single use masks, which adds an element of fun and playfulness to your spa experience and would be a perfect stocking filler with the Christmas gifting season coming soon. Regardless of gender I know these will be well received and are very reasonably priced at £1.20 each, which can be purchased from the Ooharr website.
