It’s always exciting to try a new skincare brand, especially one such as Aurelia, who in a short space of time have become a multi award winning British skincare company, with accolades from The Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible, The Beauty Shortlist, CEW, Skins Matter – Free From Skincare Awards and The Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible to name but a few. With all of these top industry skincare experts and independent skincare trial users all having high praise for this range, I had to give it a try for myself.
Aurelia is a free from skincare range, which never test on animals and have the leaping bunny logo. There are no synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oils, silicones or sulphates contained in any of their products. It’s so nice not to worry that there are any harmful ingredients in this range, as it’s important to know which type of ingredients i’m using on my skin.
I have previously reviewed there fantastic Miracle Cleanser, if you missed it you can check it out HERE.
For the past week I have been using the Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil as part of my night time routine, as with the change in weather and being unwell for the past couple of weeks, I’ve been searching for a product that will nourish my skin and put back the lost hydration which my illness and weather conditions have caused.
This wonderful overnight oil works with the skins nightly repair functions and comes in a tinted glass bottle to maintain the optimum potency of the BioOrganic, 100% pure botanicals and it has a dropper delivery system, allowing for precise application. This powerful overnight elixir is a delight to use as the aromatic blend of Neroli, Lavender, Rose and Mandarin, allow me to feel comforted ready for a good nights sleep.
The base of this beautiful fine oil is a blend of Kalahari and Monogongo oil which are rich in essential fatty acids and skin regenerating properties. Whilst a powerful blend of antioxidants of Hibiscus and Omega fatty acids from Kigelia, fight free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.
After using the fantastic nightly treatment for a week, I have noticed a vast improvement in the hydration levels of my skin. All of my dry and flaky patches of skin have disappeared, whilst the tone of my skin looks visibly firmer and brighter, with a renewed glowing appearance.
For me this is a must have in any skin routine and particularly at this time of year with seasonal skin changes, when hydration is key to healthy hydrated skin.
If you would like to try this magical cell repair oil for yourself, it is available in a 50ml size and retails at £55 direct from the Aurelia website, offering many months of nightly treatment.
