We all have such busy lives these days which leaves very little room for a bit of “me” time, so it’s no wonder the most common step missing from most peoples beauty routines is a face mask. When realistically a great mask can really give the skin a boost, they contain high percentages of active ingredients, as they need to be able to work instantly in a spa treatment environment, so missing out this step really isn’t something you should be doing.
I think it’s very important to have some quality time, where you can lay back relax, read a book and step away from electronic devices where possible, as it’s important for your own well being. I understand this may not be possible every week, that’s why I’ve been looking into the new generation of overnight masks, which can be applied instead of your night cream, allowing the potent ingredients to intensively work while I’m sleeping and the best part is they don’t require any removal.
One such mask that I have been using recently is the Liz Earle Superskin Overnight Mask, I chose this mask as I am a big fan of this brands philosophy,as they use the finest naturally active ingredients in an eco-friendly way, to boost the skin’s natural healthy radiance. Also as I’m now in my mid thirties the Superskin range is a particular favourite of mine to help slow the ticking, when it comes to ageing gracefully.
I have previously wrote about many products in the Liz Earle range, which if you missed any of them you can read HERE.
First of all this mask is huge, weighing in at 100ml at £42 makes it double the size compared to majority of brands within the beauty industry, yet it’s not double the price. If you are looking to give your skin a luxurious treat and your main skin ageing concern is lack of firmness then this is the perfect mask for you to try. Combining supercharged extracts of Persian silk tree. pomegranate flower, borage, buriti, rosehip and cranberry seed oils, my skin feels intensively nourished, visibly brighter and firmer after just one application.
This is the perfect skin pick-me-up, the change in my skins appearance overnight was incredible, particularly when I’ve avoided the mirror most mornings lately, as my sleep pattern is all over, with my work-life balance being a little hectic of late.
Whether you are time poor, have a busy lifestyle or have never quite realised the difference a face mask can make to your appearance, then this is the one you need to try and see the results for yourself. I am quickly becoming addicted to the results and due to the size of this mask I have stepped up to using it as my night cream twice a week.
